We design and manufacture high-power millimeter-wave sources that beam electricity between spacecraft — letting satellites fly lighter, launch for less, and draw power on demand.
Orbital power stations generate electricity and beam it as microwave power to subscriber spacecraft, which receive and convert it locally. Because satellites no longer carry a full power system of their own, they can be built lighter and launched for less — power arrives in short, high-intensity pulses, smoothed into continuous supply by onboard storage.

Ultra-efficient gyrotrons convert electrical power from an orbital station into radiated microwave energy — compact, field-deployable sources built for high-frequency, high-efficiency operation in demanding directed-energy applications. Delivered as complete, manufacturing-ready systems from source to integration.

An onboard receiver that absorbs incoming microwave power and converts it directly into usable electrical power — compact enough to integrate with CubeSat and small-satellite buses. Available as a standalone module or co-developed into your spacecraft's power architecture.

Numerical codes for mmWave quasi-optical systems and mode converters used in gyrotron and ECRH applications — Gaussian beam propagation, mode-matching, and mirror-based transmission-line design.

Precision mode converters that transform waveguide propagation into clean, focused free-space Gaussian beams — high-efficiency conversion for demanding RF and quasi-optical applications.

Horizon Electro is built by Alex Laut, an RF engineer with a background spanning the full high-power millimeter-wave stack for fusion energy: commissioning high-power mmWave systems and gyrotrons at a national fusion research lab, designing and manufacturing high-power gyrotrons at a commercial gyrotron manufacturer, and designing microwave transmission lines at a private fusion energy company. Horizon Electro applies that same hardware — source and transmission alike — to orbital power delivery.
